One of Benson Steel core values is innovation and we are constantly in search of ideas that help our every day work be better, faster, more effective and efficient.
An example of this is the use of a 3D print modelling tool that enabled us to design our own custom "V" support structures for the new L. F.Wade International Airport in Bermuda. We were able to test designs, and forecast cost/effect and performance of this structures for the rest of the project in a much more accurate way than using other conventional manufacturing techniques.
Offering efficiency, customizability, and accessibility to affordable production, 3D printing is changing the dynamics of how we make things. Today, innovative 3D printed products and solutions range from the formerly impossible to impractical ambitions designers and engineers could previously only dream of producing.
