Project description

The Roy Thomas Hall renovation was an acoustic enhancement project. In the upper reaches of the hall, above the highest balconies, the walls were brought in by as much as 20 feet, reducing the hall's overall volume and introducing parallel walls for running reverberation. The new bulkheads reduced the room volume by 135,000 cubic feet.
